
Chelsea were by far the better team against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night but failed to convert the numerous chances created against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Joao Felix, Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz were all guilty of missing huge chances for the Blues. Reece James had a goal ruled out for offside in the first-half and Havertz had a goal ruled out for hand ball in the second-half.
Chelsea played with plenty of confidence until it came to the final third, where the Blues never looked truly capable of capitalising on the numerous chances they created.
