Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund could be on his way to Stamford Bridge in the summer after Chelsea held talks with the Italian club recently, according to Daily Mail.

Hojlund is a self-confessed Manchester United supporter but is admired by Chelsea who are looking to land a new striker in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea invited Atalanta chairman Antonio Percassi to our recent Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund at Stamford Bridge and held talks with the Atalanta chairman over a summer deal for Hojlund.

Atalanta are demanding £60million for the youthful goal-getter who only joined the club last summer for a fee of just £15million.

Hojlund has quickly established himself as one of the Italian top-flight’s up and coming stars and is also attracting interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid.
