According to a report on GOAL, Chelsea will have a tough time convincing former Barcelona Luis Enrique to become Chelsea’s next manager.

The report on GOAL reads: “According to El Nacional, it will be tough for Chelsea to lure former Spanish manager Luis Enrique for the managerial position, as the Spaniard has a verbal agreement with Atletico Madrid to replace Diego Simeone.

“Per the report, Enrique is one of Chelsea’s top candidates along with former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann to replace the recently ousted Graham Potter.

“However, getting Enrique will be tough for Chelsea unless plans change at Atletico Madrid.”
