According to The Independent, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher in the summer.

Klopp is seeking to upgrade Liverpool’s midfield after a difficult season and believes Gallagher has the kind of energy and attributes required at Anfield.

Chelsea are under pressure to offload a number of players this summer after spending over £600million in the last two transfer windows.

Gallagher is under contract at Chelsea until 2025.
