Chelsea fans have reacted to the team’s 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

@AnuragG88 tweeted: “If Boehly doesn’t sack Potter then trust me he’s a rival fan trying to ruin Chelsea’s legacy that was built by Roman.”

@cyrusthewhyrus tweeted: “Potter needs to be sacked now. Enough is enough. This so called ‘Project’ is looking like a joke and I’d rather prefer short-term success rather a long term team building process under these tactics.”

@KreaseChan tweeted: “Dear Todd Boehly, this is what happens when you recruit a manager who has low expectations, no experience at an elite level, and what seems like limited tactical & strategic knowledge. There’s no shame in accepting the Potter experiment failed.”

@karlyreyes03 tweeted: “Chelsea made the worst coaching hire in football and decided to not fire him.”
