According to The Guardian via CaughtOffside, Premier League rivals Liverpool are confident of signing Chelsea star Mason Mount.

Liverpool reportedly feel they have a good chance of sealing the transfer of Mount this summer ahead of Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

The report also noted that Mount would be open to a move abroad as he’d be interested in reuniting with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich.

Mount’s Chelsea contract expires next year and the England international is yet to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a new contract. Should he fail to sign a new contract, Chelsea will sell Mount this summer to avoid losing him as a free agent next year.
