Former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has warned Chelsea not to let go of ‘unsellable’ midfielder Mason Mount, who has been linked with Liverpool and Bayern Munich.

Chelsea may be forced to sell the 24 year old midfielder this summer after talks over a new contract hit the brick wall. His current Chelsea contract expires next year.

Schwarzer told Sky Sports: “He’s almost unsellable.

“He’s a player you would not sell. He’s a Chelsea kid through and through. He’s been at the club all his life.

“That’s what fans die for. Fans love that. He’s such an incredible player. I certainly would not be selling him as he is such a phenomenal player.”
