Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has accepted to become Bayern Munich’s new head coach, according to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Tuchel was sacked as Chelsea head coach last September and replaced with former Brighton boss Graham Potter, who has struggled to impress Chelsea fans.
Romano tweeted: “Exclusive news confirmed: Thomas Tuchel becomes new FC Bayern head coach, full agreement in place. He has already accepted the job.
“Contract agreed, documents are being prepared tonight.”
Romano added: “Julian Nagelsmann is set to be sacked with an immediate effect as FC Bayern coach.”
Nathan Gissing has also confirmed Tuchel is set to become new Bayern Munich head coach.
Gissing tweeted: “Thomas Tuchel will join Bayern Munich – full agreement reached! 2.5 year contract.”
