Chelsea boss Graham Potter has been criticised by fans for his substitutions during the 2-2 draw against Everton on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

Potter took off Christian Pulisic and brought on Conor Gallagher in the 62nd minute with Chelsea leading 1-0.

With Chelsea leading 2-1, Potter took off Mateo Kovacic for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, took off Joao Felix for Carney Chukwuemeka and took off Wesley Fofana for Trevoh Chalobah.

Explaining why he took off Fofana, Potter said: “Wes had to come off with fatigue, as he has had a long time out. He was feeling his hamstring.”
