According to The Athletic via GOAL, Atletico Madrid are ready to compromise on their asking price for Joao Felix which could see Chelsea land the attacker for a reduced fee of around €90m in the summer.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly ready to get Felix off their wage bill and have now reduced their asking price for the Portugal international.

The Portuguese international joined Chelsea on a straight loan deal in January after extending his contract at Atletico by a further year up until 2027.

Felix’s buyout clause, a mandatory requirement in every La Liga player’s contract, is reportedly set at €350million (£307.2m; $371.4m).
