Chelsea boss Graham Potter has stated that Mason Mount will miss Chelsea’s clash against Everton on Saturday and England’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.

This is despite Gareth Southgate including the Chelsea midfielder as part of his 25-man squad for upcoming games with Italy and Ukraine.

Mount, who has missed Chelsea’s last three games due to a public bone injury, is now set to miss out on the England camp after this weekend’s domestic fixtures.

Ahead of Saturday’s clash with Everton, Potter told reporters: “Mason wasn’t 100 per cent for the last games and is still not there, so he’ll miss the England camp as well.”
