Chelsea will make another move for Bruno Guimaraes in the summer after failing to sign the Brazilian midfielder in January, according to reports.
The Telegraph claims Chelsea inquired about signing the Brazilian in January but the conversation ended almost as soon as it started as Newcastle United were not willing to sell the midfielder.
Guimaraes has been superb for Newcastle United since arriving from Lyon in January last year and Newcastle United are on the verge of agreeing a new long term contract with the Brazil international.
Chelsea will reportedly return with a bid for Guimaraes in the summer. Newcastle have been interested in signing several Chelsea players over the last nine months which could assist the Blues in any deal brokering.
It is believed Newcastle United will only consider selling Guimaraes in the summer if they receive an offer upwards of £100million.
