Rio Ferdinand reacts to Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund

Chelsea are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night and 2-1 on aggregate.

Reacting to Chelsea’s victory over Borussia Dortmund, Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport: “You can sense from the fans there’s relief. They are used to success at Stamford Bridge. They deserve the win tonight.

“There are moments in seasons that confidence kicks back in. This means something to the football club at this moment.”
