Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzić has revealed Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel could play against Chelsea in the Champions League later today.

Borussia Dortmund head to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night for the second leg of the last-16 tie against Chelsea, leading 1-0 after Karim Adeyemi’s winner in the first-leg in Germany last month.

Borussia Dortmund first-choice goalkeeper Kobel suffered a thigh injury during the warm-up for a Bundesliga showdown with RB Leipzig and had to be withdrawn from the starting XI late and replaced by deputy Alexander Meyer.

Dortmund boss said: “Gregor [Köbel] has been receiving treatment in Dortmund for the last two days. He has felt better every day. We will work with him and decide after the [Tuesday training] session if he can play.

“After this game, we want to be among the eight most successful teams in Europe this season.”
