AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek with the Chelsea star’s contract set to expire in 2024.
According to Italian media outlet CalcioMercato via Metro, AC Milan have monitored the 27 year old midfielder for a while and are keen on signing him in the summer.
The Rossoneri are willing to pay around £22million for the midfielder whose contract with the Blues expires in the summer of 2024.
With Chelsea yet to open contract talks with Loftus-Cheek despite his contract expiring next year, the Blues may be open to selling the midfielder at the end of the season.
Loftus-Cheek has made 17 starts for Chelsea in all competitions this season, including in the 1-0 win over Leeds on Saturday.
AC Milan have enjoyed recent success with buying from Chelsea, having signed Fikayo Tomori back in 2021 who was instrumental in the club winning Serie A in 2022, their first league title for 11 years.
