Chelsea’s owners do not see Romelu Lukaku as part of their ongoing project, according to a report on Daily Mail.
Lukaku, 29, is on a season-long loan deal at Inter Milan. He has struggled with injuries during his latest spell in Italy, limited to just 15 appearances and four goals for the blue and black half of Milan.
Lukaku does not fit into Todd Boehly’s ongoing plans for Chelsea, being at odds with the focus on bright young players.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter is also not looking to have Lukaku back in the Chelsea fold.
