Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed Chelsea is set to reach an agreement with Hull City for the permanent transfer of 20 year old midfielder Xavier Simons.

Simons is currently on a season-long loan deal at Hull City and the Championship side are now keen on making his stay permanent following his impressive performances.

Romano tweeted: “More on Xavier Simons deal. Chelsea are set to accept Hull City bid on permanent transfer — understand Chelsea will have sell on clause included in the agreement.

“Personal terms are also agreed between Simons and Hull City.”
