Chelsea are reportedly interested in hiring former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino as a replacement for Graham Potter.
Potter’s position is under major threat following a series of dire results that have left the club 10th in the Premier League table and closer to the bottom three than the top four.
Potter is under pressure at Chelsea after guiding the club to just one win in 11 games, with Chelsea suffering 6 defeats in the same period.
According to Football Insider via The Hard Tackle, Chelsea have already made contact with 51 year old Pochettino to replace Potter as Chelsea manager.
Pochettino is reportedly interested in becoming Chelsea manager if Potter is sacked by the Chelsea hierarchy.
Discussions between Pochettino and Chelsea have not advanced beyond the exploratory at this point, but it firmly indicates that Potter has just a few matches at most to turn things around.
Potter, who replaced Thomas Tuchel in the Chelsea dugout last September, is under contract until 2027.
