According to Fussball Transfers via The Hard Tackle, Chelsea have identified Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel as an ideal replacement for Kepa Arrizabala and Edouard Mendy ahead of next season.

The 25 year old goalkeeper has impressed since joining Borussia Dortmund in 2021. This season, he has featured in 18 games, keeping 8 clean sheets and conceding 19 goals.

Kobel has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2026, meaning the German side is not in a rush to sell him yet.

Dortmund will likely ask for more than double the €15 million fees they paid Stuttgart for the transfer of Kobel.
