Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has identified former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique and former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane as ideal replacements for Graham Potter as Chelsea boss, according to reports.
Metro states: “Luis Enrique and Zinedine Zidane are both ‘in the running’ to become the new Chelsea head coach, according to reports.
“Chelsea’s hierarchy have repeatedly backed Potter despite a recent emergency meeting over the club’s terrible form but they are now starting to have doubts.
“Enrique and Zidane are now the latest names to be linked to the Chelsea job and according to Spanish outlet Sport, both men are in contention to replace Potter.
“Enrique was most recently the manager of the Spain national team and stepped down following their exit from the World Cup in Qatar in the last 16.
“He managed Barcelona from 2014 to 2017, helping the Catalan club win two La Liga titles, the Champions League and three Copa del Rey trophies.
“Zidane has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid in 2021 – where he led them to three Champions League titles and two La Liga trophies.”
