‘In my time as a Chelsea player, Graham Potter wouldn’t last’ – Former Chelsea star tells Todd Boehly to sack Potter immediately

Former Chelsea defender Mario Melchiot has urged Todd Boehly to sack Graham Potter immediately following a miserable run of results.

Chelsea have just one win in 11 games and have suffered 6 defeats in that period.

This is despite Chelsea spending over £600million on new players over the last two transfer windows.

“In my time, Graham Potter wouldn’t last, that’s all I can say,” Melchiot, who represented Chelsea between 1999 and 2004, told ESPN.

“When I was playing, no. I feel sorry for him, I know everyone is talking about him, but with results like this… I have to be sorry and make a change.”
