Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement to sign Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Paez scored on his first-team debut for the club on Saturday having been integrated into the senior squad ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Romano tweeted: “Kendry Páez scores on his debut with Independiente del Valle’s first team — he’s 15 years old, midfielder born in May 2007.
“Chelsea have anticipated many clubs as there’s a verbal agreement in place to sign Kendry and bring him to Europe in 3 years.”
Chelsea beat Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid to the signing of the 15 year old midfielder.
