Chelsea star Mason Mount would love to join Premier League rivals Liverpool, former Chelsea and Liverpool star Glen Johnson has claimed.

England international Mount has made almost 200 appearances for Chelsea since breaking into the first-team in 2019.

Mount’s future at Chelsea is in doubt with the England international yet to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a new contract. Mount will have just one year left on his Chelsea contract in the summer.

“Mason Mount could definitely revive his career at Liverpool,” the ex-Chelsea and England defender told OLBG.

“He still has a chance at Chelsea too, the bigger players need to raise their games.

“So the door is not shut on his Chelsea career yet, but Liverpool would bite your arm off to get him and Mount would probably do the same to play for Liverpool.”
