Chelsea boss Graham Potter has sent a message to Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after leaving the striker out of the matchday squad for four games in a row.

With Chelsea struggling to score goals – Chelsea have scored just once in the last five games – questions are now being asked if neglecting Aubameyang is the right decision.

“I would say keep doing what he’s doing,” Potter said after Chelsea’s embarrassing 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday.

“We had Kai and Raheem coming on but when you don’t score – when you’re creating chances – I understand the question.”
