Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have assured Graham Potter that they have no plans to sack him ahead of Sunday’s game against Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Telegraph.
This is despite Chelsea winning just two games in the club’s last 14 Premier League games.
Despite Chelsea fans calling for Potter to be sacked following the 1-0 defeat to Southampton at Stamford Bridge last Saturday, Potter has reportedly received messages of support from the Chelsea board.
Boehly will reportedly watch the Tottenham Hotspur clash, with Eghbali expected to watch the Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund matches after the pair witnessed the Southampton defeat at Stamford Bridge together.
Boehly and Eghbali are prepared to keep faith with Potter until the end of the season and will only make evaluations on Potter after he has had a full season in charge of Chelsea.
Boehly and Eghbali are reportedly hopeful that Chelsea fans calling for Potter to be sacked will change their stance with victories and improved performances.
