Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi will miss the Champions League clash between Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund at Stamford Bridge next week.

Adeyemi scored the only goal of the game as Borussia Dortmund beat Chelsea at the Signal Iduna Park last week.

The German club have now confirmed Adeyemi will miss the next three weeks after suffering an injury in their league game against Hertha Berlin on Sunday.

Statement from Borussia Dortmund reads: “Karim Adeyemi tore a muscle fiber during Sunday’s game against Hertha Berlin. He will not be available for about three weeks.

“Get well soon, Karim Adeyemi.”
