Chelsea put these 5 players up for sale following defeat to Southampton

Chelsea have reportedly put at least five players up for sale this summer following the embarrassing 1-0 defeat to Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

According to Football Insider via Sports Mole, Mason Mount will be sold in the summer following little progress in negotiations to extend his contract.

Mount – who played just 64 minutes of Saturday’s game – is believed to be admired by Manchester United and Liverpool, and Chelsea are expected to sell him this summer if he does not pen fresh terms.

Out-of-favour striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will also be sold in the summer despite only joining Chelsea from Barcelona last summer.

The Blues have also reportedly put Hakim Ziyech, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek up for sale in the summer.

Ziyech was close to joining PSG on loan in January before the move broke down due to Chelsea sending the wrong documents. Loftus-Cheek, who has played just 79 minutes of Premier League football for Potter’s side since the World Cup, has less than 18 months left on his Chelsea contract.

Gallagher, who was linked with a move to Everton and Newcastle United in January, will also be reportedly sold in the summer.
