Joao Felix joined Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid for the rest of the season and the Portugal international has impressed the Chelsea hierarchy already with his performances.
Chelsea are looking to sign Felix permanently at the end of the season and Atletico Madrid have now revealed how much they want for the Portugal international.
According to the Evening Standard, Atletico Madrid want around £80million for the permanent transfer of Felix to Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are pushing hard to sign 24 year old Chelsea star Mason Mount amid an impasse in his ongoing contract talks with Chelsea, according to Daily Mail.
Mount’s future at Stamford Bridge has been thrown into doubt as there is a significant gap between Mount’s contract demands and Chelsea’s contract offer.
The England international is believed to want to treble his £80,000-a-week wages and the Chelsea hierarchy have reportedly become resigned to the midfielder not extending his contract.
Mount has 18 months remaining on his current Chelsea deal and the Blues are reportedly open to selling the midfielder in the summer.
Liverpool are reportedly hoping to take advantage in the breakdown in talks between Chelsea and Mount.
Mount has played 190 times for Chelsea since coming through the club’s academy, scoring 33 goals.
