Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat to bottom of the league Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with Southampton outplaying Chelsea in the first-half.
It was well deserved victory for Southampton as the Blues put in our worst display at Stamford Bridge in years.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter has blamed himself for Chelsea’s poor first-half performance against Southampton.
Potter said: “It was [a step backwards], certainly in the first half. Returning from the Champions League and we had to make some changes, we lose a bit of fluidity and cohesion.
“Southampton mixed the game well but our performance wasn’t what we wanted in the first half and I take as much responsibility in that.
“Second half was good and we deserved a goal. But when you don’t, it’s obviously difficult.”
We are now Potter’s Brighton who created chances and can’t finish them
they should sack this coach
If that’s the case, just pack and go since you know you are responsible for the worst performance from Chelsea
