Chelsea boss Graham Potter is ready to unleash Mason Mount against Southampton on Saturday.
Mount has scored four times and provided one assist in his five Premier League starts against Southampton so far.
Mount has started Chelsea’s last two games against West Ham and Borussia Dortmund on the bench.
“Mason is a Portsmouth boy and from my time at Southampton, I know there’s no love lost between those two clubs, that’s for sure,” Potter said.
“He will be desperate to play, he’ll be ready. His qualities are undoubted so there’s a chance he could be involved, absolutely.”
On how Mount dealt with beginning on the bench the last two game, Potter added:
“He’s reacted really well, as I’d expect.
“He’s a fantastic lad, he’s great in the dressing room. He wants to support the team and his team-mates and he’s ready to play. You saw that with how he came on the pitch against West Ham and Dortmund. He had an impact, so no problems with Mason.”
this is a good lineup , good luck the blues
