Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are set to back Graham Potter after he passed an internal review that Thomas Tuchel failed, according to Evening Standard.

Former Chelsea boss Tuchel was sacked by the owners after they conducted a comprehensive review into their first 100 days at the club. 

Potter has comfortably survived a similar review, and the new Chelsea owners will continue to support him in a rebuilding project centred around young players.

Despite Chelsea’s struggles on the pitch under Potter, the new Chelsea owners believe the former Brighton man will turn things around in the club.
