Chelsea are still interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham in the summer despite signing Enzo Fernandez for a British transfer record of £107million during the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
Bellingham is expected to leave German club Borussia Dortmund in the summer and is also attracting interest from Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have ‘worked hard’ to establish contacts and relationships with Bellingham’s representatives, in a bid to keep an open line of communication over a potential transfer.
Chelsea are aware that the Blues are not among the favourites to sign the England midfielder but would be willing to move ‘heaven and earth’ to try and snap up the teenager.
Bellingham is reportedly valued at around £100million and would command wages in excess of £200,000-a-week.
