Spanish side Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Chelsea star Christian Pulisic in the summer, according to Spanish publication Fichajes via Metro.

Pulisic is set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season after another frustrating season at Stamford Bridge.

The American international has struggled to hold down a place in the starting XI, partly due to injury and also due to the fierce competition for places in the squad.

The 24-year-old has made 16 Premier League appearances this campaign, but just six of those have come in the starting line-up and he is again out injured now, having not played since 5 January against Manchester City.

Following the January arrivals of Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke, Pulisic’s future at Chelsea is now in doubt with his contract expiring in 2024.
