The new Chelsea owners have spent more than £500million ($603m) — not including add-ons — on new players since taking over last summer.
According to The Athletic, the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital ownership do not intend to sign another raft of players in the summer but are prepared to spend big again in a few key positions.
One of the key signings that Boehly and Clearlake Capital in the summer will be another forward, despite having already put a deal in place to sign RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku.
Chelsea will also consider signing Felix permanently at the end of the season if he continues his impressive start to his Chelsea career.
Chelsea signed Felix on loan from Spanish side Atletico Madrid for a fee of around £9.7million.
