Chelsea right-back Reece James has warned violence isn’t the answer after a Chelsea fan was punched and got knocked out by a West Ham fan before the 1-1 draw between both sides at London Stadium.
The fan was later spotted being wheeled away in a wheelchair.
Reece James tweeted: “The news has crossed my attention that a fan was punched & knocked out before todays game.
“I totally understand rivalry between teams in big games but violence is no answer. I hope he’s okay.
“Appreciate the traveling fans as always. Stick with us & stay safe. See u in Dortmund.”
