Chelsea could miss out on signing Joao Felix permanently in the summer with Real Madrid now interested in signing the 23 year old Portugal international, according to The Sun.

Felix is currently on loan at Chelsea from Atletico Madrid but Chelsea have no clause to make the move permanent.

Atletico Madrid reportedly value the forward at around £124million and Chelsea are open to signing Felix permanently in the summer  if his good performances are kept up for the rest of the season.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is said to hold Felix in high esteem and have joined Chelsea in the race for 23 year old Portugal international.
