Chelsea will look to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya in the summer, according to Football London.

Raya, who has a contract with Brentford until 2024, has already rejected two new contract offers from his current club amid interest from Chelsea.

The 27-year-old has been one Brentford’s best performers this season making a number of crucial saves to help Thomas Frank’s side consistently remain in the top half of the Premier League table.

Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are also interested in signing the 27 year old goalkeeper in the summer.

Speaking about his future recently, Raya said as per The Telegraph: “I don’t think it’s the right time to sign a contract at the moment.

“I’m really, really happy and right now, I’m just thinking about doing the best for the team and trying to push for Europe.

“I was offered a new contract last year and one in January, but we didn’t reach an agreement,” he added. “For now, a new contract is secondary. The most important thing is the team and the games. We’ll see where we are in May.”
