Chelsea’s 1-1 draw at West Ham United on Saturday means the Blues have won just two of our last 13 Premier League matches, leaving the club ninth in the table and 10 points off the top four.

Chelsea are also out of all domestic cups despite spending massively last summer and during the January transfer window. The Champions League is the club’s only hope of silverware this season.

Some Chelsea fans are already beginning to question the club’s decision to appoint Graham Potter as Chelsea boss amid the club’s poor form and the board have now made a decision on the future of Potter as Chelsea boss.

According to The Athletic, the Chelsea board are firmly behind Potter despite the club’s struggles under the former Brighton boss.

The Chelsea board reportedly believe Potter should be judged after several years as Chelsea boss and not after months in the job. Todd Boehly and co are reportedly confident that Chelsea have one of the best managers in the game.

Just as the Arsenal board were patient with Mikel Arteta during his early struggles as Arsenal boss, the Chelsea board are reportedly willing to be patient with Potter.

The Chelsea board believe that it will take some time for all the new signings at the club to gel and understand Potter’s tactics and methods.
