West Ham struggled to contain Chelsea star Joao Felix during the 1-1 draw at the London Stadium on Saturday.

According to The Athletic, Felix registered the most shots (three) and shots on target (two), supplied the most crosses (eight) and was also Chelsea’s most-fouled player (three) — an indication of how much West Ham struggled to contain him.

Among the attacking players who started the game for Chelsea against West Ham, which included Kai Havertz, Mudryk and Madueke, he also had the most touches (66) and passes (35).

Meanwhile, West Ham captain Declan Rice has praised the performance of Chelsea star Joao Felix in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against West Ham on Saturday.

“I’ve played against a lot of midfielders and No.10s and the first 10 or 15 minutes today as a player you know a top player,” Rice told Stadium Astro.

“The way he worked from side to side to get on the ball and find space he’s an unbelievable player.

“I noticed that straight away. You have to be really on your game with players like him.”
