Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez was named Man of the Match in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against West Ham on Saturday.
Reacting to the performance of Fernandez against West Ham, Chelsea boss Graham Potter told BBC Match of the Day: “It is his second game, he is a young player but you can see his quality and his personality.
“And like [Joao] Felix, [Noni] Madueke and [Mykhailo] Mudryk he will get better the more we understand them and they understand us. It is a process that you can’t really short circuit.”
Meanwhile, Joao Felix has urged his Chelsea teammates to fight together and finish the season strongly following Saturday’s 1-1 draw at West Ham.
Felix told BT Sport: “I think we did a great game and controlled the game. They scored when we were good but that is football. We had chances to score but we go strong for the game.
“We fought for the three points but I think we are strong for the next match. I feel comfortable playing in that team.
“There is so much quality it is unbelievable and now we need to fight together and we have everything to do a big rest of the season.”
