According to Daily Mail, Los Angeles FC fear they will be unable to convince Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join the MLS side on loan this month.

LAFC have reportedly held talks with Chelsea over a loan move for Aubameyang, who has 18 months left on his Chelsea contract.

Aubameyang has found himself behind Kai Havertz in the queue for a starting spot and seen attacking competition increase during the January window.

He was dropped from Chelsea’s 25-man Champions League squad for the knockout stages of the competition and even failed to make the matchday squad for the goalless draw against Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
