Chelsea boss Graham Potter has admitted that he is fully aware of the pressure he is under to deliver results at Chelsea.

Potter has admitted that he is willing to take the blame if results aren’t up to standard and would understand if he was sacked by the club.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s game away to West Ham, Potter said: “I’m not stupid. If the results aren’t what this club should get, then I understand, if I’m the reason for it then that’s the job.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has revealed he learned a lot from former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Azpilicueta told The Athletic: “I had a very good relationship with Jose. He is someone I learned a lot from.

“The levels he was at in terms of thinking about all the little details — he knew how to win.

“He could see maybe that same winning mentality in me. Like him, I hated losing. I always have done, since I was a kid.”
