According to Matt Law, Chelsea are very excited about the signing of Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama and believe he’s the club’s best January transfer signing ahead of Enzo Fernandez.

Matt Law told The London is Blue podcast: “Chelsea are very, very excited about Andrey Santos. There’s people in the club that think he’s been their best January Transfer.”

Santos is currently representing Brazil at the U20 South American Championship. He has scored five goals from midfield in his first five games.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are ready to break the British transfer record to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in the summer, according to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.

Osimhen has scored 16 goals in 17 league appearances for Napoli this season, helping the Italian side to go 13 points clear of Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table.

Napoli are expecting bids of more than €120million for the transfer of Osimhen in the summer and Chelsea are ready to pay what it takes to secure the signing of the 24 year old Nigerian striker.
