According to Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini via Football London, Trevoh Chalobah has been identified by Inter Milan as the ideal replacement for Milan Skriniar who is set to join PSG in the summer.
Despite the defensive signings of Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana in the summer, Chalobah has continued to be a constant figure in the Blues defence making 19 appearances this season.
Chalobah, who has spent time out on loan at Ipswich, Huddersfield and French club Lorient, has made a total of 48 appearances for Chelsea since making his debut and recent signed a contract until 2028.
Meanwhile, Premier League rivals Manchester City have confirmed their interest in signing Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell, according to The Times as per Manchester Evening News.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is keen on signing Chilwell in the summer, with Guardiola seeing the Chelsea left-back as the ideal player to solve Manchester City’s left-back problems.
Chilwell, 26, has suffered an injury-hit campaign at Stamford Bridge, with fellow full-back Marc Cucurella often preferred by Graham Potter.
The England international has made 15 appearances this season for Chelsea and did feature late on in the 0-0 draw with Fulham on Friday.
Guardiola is known to have been a long-term admirer of Chilwell, having considered triggering his £42million release clause in 2020, before he made the move to Chelsea.
