Enzo Fernandez joined Chelsea from Benfica on transfer deadline day for a British transfer record fee of £107million.

The 22 year old midfielder made his Chelsea debut in the goalless draw against Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Friday.

Reacting to his Chelsea debut, Fernandez wrote on Instagram: “Very happy with the group’s effort.

“It is not the result we wanted, but let’s keep working for the good results to come.

“Thank you to the fans for the reception and support last night! I am very happy for the debut and to be a Blue!

“Thank You, God!”
