According to Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Turkish giants Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign 20 year old striker David Datro Fofana on loan.

The report claims that Chelsea initially were not keen on sending Fofana to the Super Lig but with the other major leagues transfer windows closing the Blues do not have many options if Fofana is to gain experience on loan.

The transfer window of the Turkish league remains open until Wednesday 8th February.

Galatasaray had reportedly agreed a one-and-a-half-year loan deal with Chelsea for Fofana but the striker is reluctant to leave the club on a long loan deal.

Chelsea and Galatasaray are set for another round of talks where the possibility of reducing the loan term to six-months will be discussed.

After being left on the bench for the last three league games Fofana played 15 minutes in the goalless draw against Fulham.

Galatasaray are the Turkish league leaders after winning their last 11 games in a row and are six points ahead of second-placed rivals Fenerbahce.

  1. After Potter has sold D.Fofana he should Exit Chelsea,,D.Fofana is ten times better than Harverts who potter is like obsessed with him🥺

  2. Infact Datro Fofana is better than Kai Harvetz that boy is strong and comfortable with ball infront of the goal. Our Coach is clueless ,, In the team you to have to strikers incase one had injury the second one can play. Selling sending Fofana on Loan is bad decision . we have many players who should go on loan in Chelsea team . Give Fofana 90minutes game we want to see his performance. He only plays 15minutes . please please I beg that boy should not be send on loan.

  3. Fofana can play good in front of Kai harvetz
