Chelsea are ‘not afraid’ of the transfer fee that Napoli are expected to demand for star striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports in Italy.

It is believed Napoli will demand £107million for the transfer of Osimhen in the summer and Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay to secure the transfer of the 24 year old Nigerian international.

As reported by journalist Emanuele Cammaroto on Napoli Magazine via Manchester Evening News, Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested in the 24-year-old forward.

Discussing the future of Osimhen, Cammaroto said: “Chapter Osimhen: Manchester United and Chelsea are not afraid of the amount that Aurelio De Laurentiis will ask, that is €120m (£107m).

“If the Nigerian striker goes to the Premier League, Giuntoli and his staff are already working on a couple of profiles.”

Osimhen has registered 14 goals in 16 Serie A matches for Luciano Spalletti’s side this season, as well as recording four assists.
