Chelsea have confirmed 18 year old midfielder Charlie Webster has signed a new contract with the club.

A statement from Chelsea: “Charlie Webster has extended his contract with Chelsea by a year, the midfielder committing his future to the club until at least the summer of 2024.

“Webster, 18, has scored five goals in 14 PL2 appearances, with the pick of the bunch being shots from distance at Leicester and in a recent London derby at home against West Ham United.

“The England Under-19 international has been an important part of Mark Robinson’s development squad side this season.”
