Chelsea are working hard to secure a work permit for Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos, according to media outlet UOL.

The Blues want Brazilian midfielder to be part of the squad for the second half of the season after impressing at the U-20 South American Championship.

Santos is captain of the Brazilian U-20 team and he has scored three goals already from midfield in the competition.

The 18 year old midfielder joined Chelsea this month from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama for a reported fee of around £18million.
