Chelsea star turns down move to Everton

Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has turned down a move to Premier League side Everton, according to Sky Sports.

Everton submitted a £45million bid to sign Gallagher but the 22 year old midfielder isn’t interested in leaving Chelsea for Everton.

According to Standard Sport, Chelsea are open to accepting Everton’s £45million offer for Gallagher if the transfer of Enzo Fernandez is completed but the problem is comvincing Gallagher to move to Everton.

Crystal Palace remain interested in a return for the 22-year-old after he starred on a season-long loan at Selhurst Park last season, while Newcastle are also interested after agreeing to sell Jonjo Shelvey to Nottingham Forest.

It remains to be seen if Everton can convince Gallagher to move, with the midfielder having played well under Potter of late and not pushing to leave the club.
